Why aren't my images showing up?
If you have just uploaded them, they need to be approved by webstaff before they will appear. This can take up to 5 days. Please check back later.
Why do my images have to be approved?
Images need to be approved to ensure they are appropriate for the SDA website. Even though you have to login as a member, there is always the chance that a hacker can get in and post inappropriate images.
Where do I upload images at?
You need to first login as a member (with your member id and password). Then, under Member Benefits, there is a link to the digital image library. At the bottom of that page, there is a link "Agree in order to upload or edit images". That link will take you to a page where you can upload your images, enter details about the images, replace or edit images, or edit information.
How do I replace one image with a different image?
Go to http://dev.surfacedesign.org/members-image-submit.php and click on the link to view and edit your submitted images. On that page, you will see an "Edit image info" link. You can upload a new image and change the information about the image there.
How do I delete an image?
Go to http://dev.surfacedesign.org/members-image-submit.php and click on the link to view and edit your submitted images. On that page, you will see a "request Deletion of this image" link. Clicking on that will alert web staff to delete the image. It may take 24 hours for that to be done. Once the image is deleted, you will be able to upload an image in it's place.
However, if you just want to replace the image, see question #4 above.
What do I get if I pay the $25 extra?
By paying $25, you will be able to upload up to 10 images instead of 2. You will also be able to have your artist's statement, biography, and description of your work shown on the website. This allows you to have your own webpage without the expense of having your own website.
The link to your webpage is displayed in the image library by your images and also on the Members Roster page, next to your name.
How do I watermark my images before posting?
